How to get help or report issues.

Before reporting an issue

  1. Check the FAQ: Many common questions are answered in the FAQ.
  2. Try the basic fix: Open NotebookLM in a browser tab, then retry. This refreshes your authentication.
  3. Check for updates: Make sure you have the latest version of the extension.

What to include

  • What you were trying to do
  • What happened instead
  • Browser name and version
  • Extension version (shown in the popup footer)
  • Console errors (if any) from the browser developer tools

Do not include any personal information, notebook contents, or authentication tokens in your report.

Please keep in mind the design principles of this project: the extension is meant to be a small utility, not a full-featured application. Features that require significant complexity or change the core workflow may not be accepted.
